Anyone use the Saeco #432 in a Marlin 1894 in 44 Magnum? If so, does it feed well, is the COL when crimped in the crimp groove good for feeding function? Also, how does it shoot in a 1-38" twist micro groove barrel? What diameter are you getting as they drop from the mould?

I'm thinking of getting one to try in an 1894 Marlin with a 1-38" twist. I might even try the #431. Just trying to find something that will group a little better at 50 yards than 2-3" and feed reliably.

My MARLINS all prefer oversized boolits and cast hard. A gas check is usually a bit more accurate. I do all my shooting off-hand...coyotes/feral dogs harassing the calves previously; now its Cowboy Action shooting and woods walking. I size to both .431 and .432 for "generic ammo" for the Cowboy rifles and "herd of VAQUEROS."

Look at Glenn Fryxell's articles at lasc.us on 357-44-45 MARLIN 1894s. Glenn is THE MAN on cast boolits. Following his suggestions saves a lot of wasted time and reloading components!

I have a TLC 432 265 RANCH DOG mould that I like in the rifles. The SAECOs you mention look similar. MI-HEC will have a 434640 in a cramer style hollowpoint that reverses to flat nose in the near future; I'm getting one of those when available. He possibly may make this in an aluminum 6 cavity solid plain base in the future. LYMAN 429244 and 429667 are good choices and feed smoothly.
