I'm busy resizing a bunch of 40 S&W brass.
Everytime I size a Blazer or Federal case, the primer sticks on the decapping pin and then is 'reset' into the primer pocket.
I then have to jiggle the case to make the primer 'fall' out. Usually on the floor!:-?
I'm using a Lee sizing die.
Anyone have a solution to this sticking?
Is this a function of the design of the anvil in the CCI and Federal primers?
Hate to have to watch each case to se if primer pops out on upstroke.
Been double stroking when no primer snaps right out and this has helped, but Blazer and Federal are a real PITA.
Comments?

When I've had stickey primers in the past, I just put a bit of a taper on the end of the pin to solve the problem. Don't go too small or you might puncture the primer instead of removing it.

Jack,
I'll give that a whirl.
Both brass cases, CCi and Federal, seem softer than Rem, Winch and others.
Probably use same alloy composition.
rfr,
I was thinking they had some kind of marriage going on.
Probably share alloy requirements and etc.
Be interesting to see how the brass holds up.

Oh, and thanks!
