:coffee: ---Would like to open up a lubersizing die RCBS from .314 to .316--thought it would be easy--only 2 ths.-hmmmmm-die is (hardened) and not easy to open up

anyone have any sugestions that would solve this prob. ?-----Mag


I have only opened die up from .314 to .3145

................What kind of equipment do you have? Lathe, drill press, drill motor, hands :-)?

Buckshot-----only have electric drill and small asortment of abrasives paper and cloth wound on steel shaft-what I have is not cutting hardened steel---any help would be a blessing-Thanks-------Mag

Are you using emory cloth? That's what I use, and I've opened them up .015" in my lathe, but the principal is the same using a drill. Start with coarse emory cloth and gradually move through finer grades for a mirror finish.
