It would be interesting to pull some bullets and see if the powder still burns, then pop some primers on empty cases to see if they fire. I've picked up a couple of waterfowl-type shotshells in the field that look about like that, and if they were not in a place where they got submerged powder and primer still fired.

It looks like those steel dies might have scratched the brass a little I can't tell from the glare. Those look pretty good did you tumble those in that new corrosive media? Looks like good stuff.

That sizing die looks to be old school RCBS (?). I'll bet it's still under warranty.

I can see it now:
Vintage old very rare die set, nice patena. Don't miss this one, low reserve.

You could probably run that one up to at least 80 bucks man, just make sure you got real fuzzy pics.

Both dies are RCBS the FL is actually 7X57 Mauser.

If you gut shoot a deer with those, he'll still probably die of tetanus. SO I say, GO FOR IT! :)

Those kind of look like the 30-30 factory rounds that oldtimers use around here.

Yeah, my hands get sweaty and cause the same thing to happen to my reloads. Just soak them in kerosene for a couple of days they'll shoot just fine.

The deer will get lock jaw and will be unable to feed, dying soon after.

You dare to tease us with those little jewels, WITHOUT including a pic of the fine smoke-pole they will be shot with?[smilie=1:

Those beuts should cycle fine in this like new (without box) rifle. The rifle does have some minor pitting due to very slight rust, but it shoots 1" groups at 600 yards regulurly.
