View Full Version : Lee camming bolt

Howdy ya'll

Have read several post about installing a camming bolt on Lee 6 cavity mold sprue handles. Can someone show me a pic of what your talking about? I know ya don't want to cam off of the mold itself but are ya camming off of the mold handle?
Sometimes I need to be shown not just told.:mrgreen:

Yes in post four of the attached link!

This is usually a dry wall screw cut off short and fitted into a short holle drilled into the block.

In the future the cam rubs steel on steel, without this add on the steel cam wears a slot into the mold block and the sprue plate no longer opens easily after that!

If you use bull plate lube and cut fast you will never wear that area

I get it now! Bit slow sometimes. I didn't even think about drilling the mold and was trying to figure out how ya was cammin on a steel part. Thanks for the help.
