i have read Beagles article many times ,but still can`t decide to bare bottom my HP 358156 or the solid nosed one .

i have a 357446 that is plain based & solid nosed , i think i`ll bare bottom my HP 358156. I`ll still have the one new SC 358156 & could have it HPed later .
by bare bottoming the HPed 358156 that`ll give me more variety of boolits !

OK i`ve talked myself into it, THANKS !!!

That's what I did. I now have a SC 358156HP and a DC 358156 PB for a GP/target/sillouhette boolit.

Well, by posting to the world you get way more feedback than talking to a wall... :-D

Were it me, I'd have the GC shank opened as opposed to milling it away. A nice stout base band is a good thing in my book.

that`s what i was thinking of doing , more weight on the rear helps the front to go straight rite??

wonder how busy Buckshot is these days ??

I'm not rocket scientist enough to say if more weight at the rear makes then fly straighter, but I do know a good stout base helps resist gas leaking by...assuming adequate size.
