I wish I could learn how to post pix! I bought an original Jungle Carbine yesterday
(except for the very fancy Monte-Carlo, high cheek rest stock). All matching numbered parts...receiver, bbl, etc.. It appears to have been shot very little. Any wear marks on the metal appear to be more from handling than anything else. It has the hollowed out bolt handle and lightning cuts to the receiver and bbl. I would like to find a replacement set of stocks to restore it to it's original configuration. Does anyone know where I can find a set?:castmine:

Try Boyd's. Nothing listed, give 'em a call.

I have an original #5 walnut buttstock that's been cleaned up and refinished with an oil finish. PM me if you're interested.

Dave

I already have a buttstock on my Santa Fe copy that should fit...I will only be needing the forestock assembly.

I think the original Jungle Carbine butt stocks were a little shorter then a standard MK4, right??

I recently bought a Jungle Carbine the same way with the 'Carlo stock, and have a repro stock set on it now, but does have the longer butt stock. Nicer shooting that way, but not real correct.
The originals ones are out there, but you'll pay for 'em.
