Swage-It Dies

There's a guy on ebay selling swaging dies at a pretty good price:

Anyone know if they're any good? I see that he also sells lead wire for $2.35 per pound in various diameters.

I have tried them. Spend a couple dollors more and get the CH Tool & Die 2 die 101 series dies.

The shooters shack only makes 1/2 jacketed bullets. They come out .002 oversize and the nose punch is heat treated beyond belief and will break if your not carefull.

The 2 die sets from CH are like $130 or so. I like them.

You are probably right about the over hardend punches. I think this guy bought out the stock of Sport Flite when he retired. I have used these dies for years without any failure, but, having said that, I would never swage anything but pure, or near pure, lead. You are right about the CH dies. They are excellent at a very good price. Ervin
