Can you lube and size tumble lube bullets with a Lyman? I can't get the search function to work.

I don't think the tumble lube design has deep enough lube grooves for a traditional lube to stay put.

I do it in my 44 magnum and it works.

It works just fine............your lube cannot be one of them chunky hard crayola lubes though.

My homemade works.............B.A.C from Lar works real well also.

Its 44 that I'm wanting to try it on. I've got the Lyman orange and some Lyman super moly that seems more like a black thick grease

Orange magic proably ain't gonna work so well, the super moly will likely work...just be mindful of how you store the boolits, IE do not dump them lubed/sized into one big ol pile.

If you take your orange magic and add a level teaspoon of petroleum jelly to each stick when melted in an old pan it will then work, and you will have a better lube as an added side benefit.

If your boolits are oversize, you'll collapse the grooves.
