I found an item called a Z-Corr storage bag on the Midway site for long term storage of guns. Was wondering if anyone has used them to store their molds? Are they reusable, or a one time only? Evidently they gas off a chemical that binds to the gun, then evaporates after reopening. They are under gun cases and safes-then gun covers at Midway.:?:

Probably the same VCI stuff on those long white straw diameter cardboard tubes the Army used to put in rifle bores when put into storage.

Gentlemen,
The Z-CORR FSP bag can provide protection from rust and corrosion for up to 20 years if they're not opened often. Here's a link to a story on them:

Here's the link to the American family-owned business that produces them, You can purchase one from here:

Have a great day, friends.

I posted the same question a few months back. I ended up buying some from http://www.polygunbag.com/index.html (polygunbag.com). I went there to get a few of the bags to try and also ended up with a ton of pulled bullets. Go figure. So, I have the bags but not long enough to give a verdict. They are reusable. I have also found that if you have a small enclosed space, you can cut up pieces of the bag, put them in the container and they seem to work that way too - sort of like the rust inhibitor chips that come with new reloading die sets.

I asked a motorcycle mechanic friend if he came across VPI paper.

A day or so later he gave me a 3x5 foot piece of clean VPI paper that was used to ship one part assembly.

That should last me a quite a while...
