I have some of these that another board member was kind enough to give me to experiment with my 35 Remington. I used about half of them and decided to sell the 35 lever action but want to put the bullets to good use.

I have both a Smith and Wesson Victory revolver issued to Britain chambered for .38 Smith and Wesson. Otherwise known as the 38/200 in British use. I've only ever shot 125, 158 round nose bullets, and 148 wadcutters out of this gun. The idea of a 200 grain .38 bullet is a bit scary. But weight wise it should work. I'm thinking maybe 2 grains of Bullseye, seated out as far as I can and still chamber. The bullets measure .360 as cast, the gun measures .360 as well. I'd rather they were a TAD fatter but with light loads and low velocity it should be ok. Thoughts?

Jon,
The load pressure sounds like it is well down into a safe area but you could go even lighter - maybe one grain and worst case ya might have to drive the boolit out which will slug the bore for ya.

Ken Waters Pet Loads has some loads and there ave been loads on the net for some time. Look up 38 Super Police. Just make sure it's the 38 S+W loads and not 38 S+W Special.
