Took the o3a3 I'd gotten a while back to the range along with my hiwall today, it was the easist rifle to shoot I've had in a long time. I'd loaded some lee 160s & 16 grs of old 2400 in fed cases, it's about like shooting a 22 mag. Guessed at the elevation setting & first shot was 1 1/2 in out of the bull right of the bat. No recoil & no leading at all. Plus this one has a very smooth, crisp trigger. Only shot at 50 yds but shows this one will shoot. Bore is .302/.309 & boolit is .303/,311 seems like these two were made for each other. I'm a happy camper. Gota go load some more.

I took my '03-A3 out today and had a very similar experience. 16 grs of 2400 and the lee 160grs gave me a 9/16" 5 shot group at 50 yards. 13 grs of Unique gave me a best group of 1/2" at 50 yards. At 100 yards both loads opened up to about 4-5". Is the load to light to give stability at longer ranges? does anybody have advice on laddering up (go up 1gr at at time? or maybe 2 grs.). I had no leading or any funtioning problems. I love the light loads (shot 150 rounds of 30-06 and had one of the most enjoyable days at the range ever!!) Thanks to all who have shared their experiences! :drinks:
