short nosed boolits and feeding problems?

I was considering what 30 cal. plinker boolit mould to get but want to make sure they will work in my Marlin as far as proper feeding. Has anyone an experience with short nosed boolits in their marlin 336 like the Lee soup can or boolits designed for 32 revolvers If I'm just killing rocks and dirt clods I may as well only use 100 grs instead of 150 or more, why waste good lead on a rock!;-)

Yes I use the Lee Soup Can in my 336W. I feeds and shoots great...........Terry
