They're only good for one firing.
Ya just can't buy anything that lasts these days........

Maybe you could have one of the machinist on this site make a die so you can restore the gas checks?

Now, I've recovered some from plate shooting that I just beleive could be reformed and shot again.
I have reshot 230 grain FMJ .45 ACP bullets a few times just to see if I could./beagle

Must be somthing about things sold off this site, I've had the same problem with loob grooves. Never been able to find a single one. Just a little indentation where they used too be. [smilie=1:

I recovered and fired a 400 gr 45 cal boolet a while back
After the first time down the barrel
It just had lands & groves on the boolet
So I reloaded it
I bet you could figure out how to reuse those GC's
If you had to
BTW I love those Gator checks

I know it! But I do occasionally find one when I sweep the reloading room floor.:kidding:

Yeah, I had that conversation with the little fella on my shoulder just last night as I went to empty the spent primer catcher. Figured that I had better dump 'em before they ended up on the floor. The idea of Pack'n er Tight & Stack'n er High needs re-vamped.

I know what you mean. Primers are the worst. The last batch I bought all worked fine the first time but the second time round were hopeless................ No wonder there is a storage if folk have to keep buying NEW ones each time.
