I was looking for a mold awhile back that I knew Lyman used to make, but I guess they discontinued, A pointy .44, I believe their number was 429303? Has Lee ever made anything like this? I'd like to find something similar if I can't find a Lyman for sale anywhere.:-D

You have the number correct. I used to have a 2C plain base that had the gas check shank machined off, and also a 4C that was original. I sold them both. Because of the deep grease grooves, the handles hadda be struck really hard to get the boolits to release. I never found great accuracy with this boolit design, but I really like the 303 top punch to use for a lot of my .44 boolits!
