will someone please tell me why i just put a win big bore in 375 win in layaway?
i have the marlin already, what was i thinking?
i mean a low numbered gun in 95+% condition, with a nice bore. no brass marks on the lifting lever and a slight scuff on the stock from someone taking it outta the gunsafe.
it so better like one of the 3 molds i have for it.

I think its called an obsession or another word is addiction . I feel for ya when I bought my Lott my pals asked if I had a elephant problem ? Well as far as I can tell there are not any free ranging " Timbas" in Kansas , But if we get some I'm ready . Oh If it bothers you to have to many of the big bores PM me and I'll send a address to get rid of said troubles . James[smilie=1:

The only shooters who complain about the cost of our hobby are the ones who've never owned a sailboat.

I don't know, but mine likes the 375449 sized to .379 :)

It sounds like yours will be a top eject model, which is what I have also.

Now that ain't too bad. I bought one when I had a Marlin .38/55 and a Ruger No 1 in .38/55.

My Winchester ouitshot the Marlin hands down and loved Lyman's 375296HP sized .376 so the Marlin went.

You made a wise decision./beagle

A mate of mine bought a 460Wby Mag some years ago and when it was removed from the box in the shop it was truely an impressive big rifle. One of the cuctomers asked what it was then asked what do you use that for? My mate answered 'this is the most powerful rifle in the world, it is for shooting elephants!' The other guy said 'there aren't any elephants in Australia!' My mate said 'He he, it's working already!' He was never short of a comeback.

"AGD" addicitive gun disorder, no cure at this time, no relation to size of safe or income. addicts have been know to exist on Ramen noodles and collect bottles and cans to fund purchases.

You should have a Big Bore 375 - I do. It's one heck of a deer stopper.

August ,
You have the perfect answer.
Most of these guys have never owned a big boat and had to make payments, upkeep, insurance, fuel, buy bait ,fishing tackle and all the rest so their friends could go fishing.
I have been able to cash fund my gun addiction since I sold the hole in the bottom of the ocean

Thats what I keep telling jen. I need a .50 BMG for when the rogue lake superior land walking killer whales come back. .45-70 may only make them mad.

runfiverun's wife posts on this forum and reads it more than i do she is my bot on the swappin and sellin forum
she will also pick up the rifle for me as i will be gone, for work, when the final payment is made.
no sneaking them in the house, she'll put it away for me. and she already cast up the first two boolit molds for it so i guess i'll be obligated to let her shoot it [maybe] fir,,, er second.

It's time for an intervention, now let's see who is qualified to help with this problem. You know what; you are in the nut house and asking the nuts for help!!

years ago I sold the boat and paid off all my credit cards with the money.
Now I can afford a gun a month. Bought a really nice K 38 five screw yesterday.
Really been upgrading my gathering since the boat found a new home.

Life is good

You ask this question on a forum full of Enabler's?

Most of them possibly would not give you directions to the nearest Gunshop if they knew there was a bargain there that they could miss out on if you got there first. [smilie=1:
