I received my Gahendra Martini-Henry today .
After 3 hours of fighting to get it apart I was able to run a patch down the bore.
It is pristine ,chrome shiney and huge!
All of the parts are here and all seem to be in good shape.
Will have to manufacture some pins and maybe a new forestock.
The fore stock has a lot of wood rust deterioration and if I can't repair it I will make a new one.
Butt stock looks great has cartouches but is very black and nothing I have used sofar has removed a lot of it.
Has a broken wood screw in it that I will drill out and plug the hole with a dowel.
The barrel has a lot of pitting along the woodline but nothing to be too worried about.
Has no blue left so I will patch the pitting with J&B weld and duracoat the barrel and receiver.
All in all I am very pleased with it and it was defenitely worth the $149.95 I paid.
