Corbin's has an amazing site. Where else can i find swage dies or presses? just wanting to compare prices because it looks to be expensive. Thank You.

It is expensive. Unless you intend to do a lot, and I mean a lot, of shooting, you may be better off buying jacketed bullets.

define "a lot"? I know guys who fire between 5 and 10 thousand rounds of jacketed per year.. would that be considered a lot? :)

I know guys (and myself) that are interested in swaging like many things because they like the challenge and like making things.

Swaging can be expensive, it takes some quality tools to turn out nice bullets.

I havent swaged a bullet yet but have stuff (backordered), and really looking forward to it

These guys make the dies in carbide if you REALLY want to spend some money. I believe at least one of 'em converts redding presses to swaging use. IMHO, Larry Blackmon's dies are the best value for most of us. I have one of the Corbin brothers presses, have had problems getting parts for it(guess they're too busy selling complete presses).

I've got carbide die sets made by both the gentlemen listed here. If you truly want "cadallac" dies, these are the best that can be had, but be prepaired to spend $3,000 on the dies and punches! Niemi also converts Rockchucker presses for bullet swaging. Look to spend upwards of 4K for a complets press and die setup from Neimi. Dietch or Neimi CARBIDE die sets WILL hold benchrest tolerances for several million bullets! For most folks, Larry Blackmon IS the best for both quality and price. His steel dies will give you 20-30K of benchrest quality bullets and 100K or more of better than store bought regular bullets. I define a benchrest bullet as being made to a total tolerance spread of .0003 and a better than store bought bullet being held to a total spread of no more than .001. MOST commercial bullets are made to a .003 spread.
