Been looking for a general use boolit for my 38 & 357. I like the looks of this boolit. I'm just curious how it shoots at lower velocities (700-800 fps). Is it stable at those velocities out to 50 yds?

I have had good results with this boolit, reg and .357 mag high velocities, no leading.
Not shot it at 50 yds, tho.

Further proof, IMHO, that with a good alloy, fit and lube, no need for gas checks in
pistols.

I just got this mold last week. Another member told me he had good results out to 50 yards with a 30:1 twist Rossi 92, but poor results beyond that.

I cast some of these bullets (air cooled WW), wrapped them in cig paper (no lube) and pushed them hard with Lil'gun and H110. Best group was just over 1" at 50 yards (iron sites) with the H110. No leading.

I didn't really address your question, but from what I have read, this is a good general purpose bullet.

Yes, it shoots well under 900 fps though my S&W 28 and wife's Ruger Security-Six, haven't tried it past 50 yds with the revolvers. We push it closer to 1400 fps for 100+ yds with a Marlin 1894.
