I have a Tarus ragingbull in 454, but am having a hard time finding 250+ bullets localy. I have a lee 200tl mould and would like to find some loads for it. I've been out of work since Feb. don't have money to buy a lot . Good news is I've got plenty of powder and primers, oh and time. Thanks in advance....lost

Can't imagine that 8 to 10 grains of Unique wouldn't work ok, I believe it's where I would start anyway.

i'd try the 8 grs of unique and go from there.
i put a flair on a couple of 40 s&w cases and a380 case full of lead poured in them.
and used 10 grs of unique in my 454 it was a test but it worked pretty well, they weighed about 150 grs or so.
i know that load will keep the neighbors horses from leaning on the fence at 60 yds.
they just slipped in the case and had no neck tension just a bit of friction so a single shot proposition.

i have only shot bullets from 230 gr up to 300 gr in my 454 casulls in my experince the heaver the bullet the better they shoot, i would not shoot any under 260 gr! but what the hay , try it you never know
