Checking out past threads, seems most of the info is for those shooting smooth barrels.
Anybody shoot these in a rifled barrel? What kind of accuracy are you getting from a rifled barrel?

A friend of RedNeckDan has shot a clover leaf pattern with his browning A bolt in 12 ga using AA12R wads and blue dot [smilie=w:

30hrrtt the Lyman 525 slug in wad combo is known to work far better in a rifled barrel than a smooth barrel. Others have gotten 1" to 3" groups at 100 yards with a proper Slug -Wad- Barrel combo! You need to do some experimentation as to see what combo works better for your gun-barrel. You will need a scope to improve your odds. Here is a link on reloading:

you might find helpful approach with caution!
Hope it helps

Is there anyone who has experience in accuracy with the 525 grain Lyman sabot slug, using a Benelli Nova with a 24" rifled slug barrel.
What were the groups and at how many yards distance.
What was the load configuration that was used.

I use 45G of Bluedot behind an AA12R wad with the 525 Lyman range scrap sabot in my H&R Ultra Slug with a cheap Norinco 4X scope. I get almost one hole groups that Piss off a lot of guys using Rem Golden Sabot slugs. This is with AA cases with a star crimp from my MEC press.
This is at 100 yds.

1.5 inch 3 shot groups at 75 yards out of my H&R ultra slug hunter
cast from wheelweights
AA hull
WIN 209 primer
AA12R wad
44.0 Grns Blue Dot
Fold crimp.
recoil is still pretty tough even in the heavy gun.
