I dont know how many have found these. I ran itto it this morning. I make for a surprize on a progressive loader
Winchester made some + P rounds that use a small pistol primer. It will upset a progressive fast. I had to go through 2000 to pick them out.
The head stamp is WIN-NT 45AUTO +P They have a sivler small pistol primer

You can find them in +P or regular. Any marked "NT" (non-toxic) have the small primer. They were originally made for use on indoor ranges. They are a real Pain in the...

NT stands for Non Toxic. All the Winchester NT has small primers, not just that particular loading.

I was running some 45ACP thru our Dillon 550B and had the samething happen except it was a Fiocchi and not marked +P. Also had trouble with AMERC 45 brass, pitched all of those I found.

Also allot of the N/T small primer loads have the primers crimped into the pockets , just adding one extra step to the process !

I'm looking to pick up some of the NT .45acp brass with the small primer pockets. I've got a good supply of small pistol primers, but not so many large pistol primers & I'd like to shoot my .45. If any of you guys have enough of that brass to make it worth the price of shipping to Phoenix, please let me know what you want for it.

Thanks,
Jim

I discovered them when cleaning the primer pocket. Better then, rather than while priming.
