Since I took a new job location I don’t travel the same route that I used to. I had an opportunity to go by one of my old WW suppliers a couple days ago on my old route home. The manager of the shop asked me where in the heck I had been and that he had been waiting on me. He had three heaping 5-gallon buckets of WW saved back for me. Needless to say I was very pleased to find WW in that volume. Now all I need is some cooler weather to make ingots out of all of it.

That is a good haul. I still have one bucket that overflowing, and another half bucket I need to ingot up. But I would sure take three buckets at a time...anytime...

Good deal.

You have plenty of smelting to do, best get at it...

Bad part is that smelting will have to wait until it's below a hundred degrees.

I had a pleasant surprise a few days ago too -- someone actually called me and said they had an overflowing 5 gal bucket of WW for me. I rushed over there and gave the fellow $10 for that and part of another bucket.

We started talking and I found that he fishes a lot, and uses egg sinkers. I have just poured over 70 lbs of assorted egg sinkers from a bunch of old "junk lead", so he'll be getting about 10 lbs of them just so he remembers to call me again the next time the bucket is full.

ghh3rd,

That's the way to do it. You don't always have to pay in cash. I give one of my sources boolits for his .357 Mag. Another likes doughnuts...another a 12-pak of soda...
