How good? And what will the barrel do with rb's? Just curious, there's a soft spot in my heart for T/C Renegades.

I was shooting off hand and they where better than round balls---I would have to bench it to give u a group size---will do when weather warms up a bit---my bullets where hard---will make some soft ones and try for groups--looks like a good project----:castmine:

I've an old italian copy of a Pensylvainia in .45 cal. It has shallow rifling and 1-48" twist. Years ago ('70s) I used Lyman 452460 cast of 1-16 alloy and lubed with straight Crisco. The SWC over 90 gr of Dupont FFFG shot quite well. It puts 5 shots into 3-4" at 100 yards. It is a tight fit and the bore must be wiped every 2 shots to be able to seat the bullet down to the powder. I have been wondering lately how it would shoot over the Lee 195 gr SWC and triple seven FFFG. I might have to try it.

You may also want to try Lee REAL bullets, the lighter ones in each caliber also seem to do good for people who have told me of using them
