I cast my own using Lee Tumble Lube molds. What is this "swaging" ? I saw somebody write a thread about making your own jackets. Is that what swaging is, because i have an ample supply of soft copper tubing. Seems like a good way to keep from getting lead deposits in the barrel.
What's involved, and why do it? Thanks

It took some probing, but I have found the answer to my own question. Next, do you think that soft copper could be form into a boolit by swaging, or would the needed pressure be to much for anything less than a hydrolic press?

Soft copper tubing is too soft. We use hard copper tubing for jackets.
