:coffee: Has anyone used hornady one-shot lube prior to derimming 22 hulls, also I have read that some anneal before derimming and some don't. I'm very new to this venture so need all the help I can muster up.

I have no swage dies, but I made a de-rimming die. I annealed and then used Unique case lube. went through like butter.

STP works great, one can will last a lifetime and is only a couple of bucks!

I use the mix of anhydrous lanolin and caster oil. smear a little on the sides of a plastic container - put the cases in and just tumble them around (with top on). They coat evenly without getting lub inside (more important when seating core than derimming).

The de-rim die I have wants the cases annealed before drawing the rim out or it will occasionally blow the bottom out of the case. I use the Lanolin and castor oil mix and it works great but is difficult to wash off. I use it on the draw punch and the outside of the case.
Hope this helps.

I use lanolin straight and anneal after removing the rim. Not sure that there is an advantage one way or another.
