Anyone tried this in their tumbler, 80 Grit Glass Bead Blast Media ?

Not yet. My first thought is it might be too abrasive? But the ad says it's ok for "soft" metal.

The price is a lot cheaper than the ceramic media if it would work. I would think that you would want to use a process based on ceramic media. In other words, you would tumble with a water based solution.

It may be a pain to get all the grains of media out of the wet cases. Tumbling them in an empty tumbler after the cases dry would probably remove any stuck media.

Looks like it would be OK. Warning on the Black sand blasting media - DON'T USE IT! I bought some off of E-Bay. The ad said it was good for brass tumbling. It left a black stain and residue on the cases.
