I had a chance to handle (fondle?) the new Vaquero recently and have to say that its slimmer grip didn't feel comfortable in my hand at all. My small hand is much happier with the wider grip of the Ruger Blackhawk, which I own and also handled immediately following the Vaquero. The redesigned Vaquero hammer spur, which replicates that of the Colt's 1873's, is an improvement though. ...Maven
