This is how N.O.E. is going to run our group buy.
We get 15 members to post on this thread that they want a mould.
You can ether post a “I want” on this thread, PM me or E-mail me
at pbsco1@qwestoffice.net.
Will post a running list of user name and how many cavities / options.
When we get 15 on the list the order will go in for the tooling.
It takes two to three weeks for the tooling to get in.
We will keep the buy open until the tooling gets in.
At that time we will close the buy and ask you to send in your
payment.
It will take another one to two weeks to run the moulds.
Prices will be as follows:
Single cavity mould $68.00 Ea.
Double cavity mould $72.00 Ea.
Three cavity mould $79.00 Ea.
Four cavity mould $85.00 Ea.
Five cavity mould $92.00 Ea.
Plus Shipping/Handling.
Prices are subject to change at any time.
You can mix number of cavities in an order to make 15.
We can cut gas checked and non gas checked cavities
in the same mould if the bullet is designed for it.
Use LEE Commercial 6-Cavity handles (not included).
Lyman, RCBS type top punch furnished with each mould
as well as a sample of Bull Plate sprue plate lube.
Hollow pointing one cavity and furnishing a double
ended pin would be $35.00 Extra.
We will accept Checks, Money Orders and Pay-Pal

BruceB is in for a 4-cavity version, in HOPES that the .313" band diameter holds true.
It's easy to reduce a thousandth or two, but it's damned tough to fatten up a too-skinny bullet by that amount.

I'm thinking the same way - Dad-Gum it I'd sure like to see you guys reduce it to .311 or even .310.

Dang John, I just cast some of these up from my Lyman mold. I coulda handed you some last night. This boolit really shoots! It kills very well also. My nephew dropped a doe with one travelling at 2000 outa his Krag sporter.

Swede, again I ask. The original drawing was for a .311 bullet. Now is shows .313. What is the size going to be? I was in for the .311, not sure about .313. If I get one over sized it would be too big for my use. My 06 likes them on the small side.

If I order a cavity with the hollow point conversion and turn the pin around will this create a large enough mehplate to allow use in a tube feed rifle?

Hornady gas checks are snug but Gater checks snap right on and the nose
engraves perfect in my 300 whisper. Have to have Blammer get me some checks.

Just received the Click-n-Ship Notification, timing couldn't have been better, I just mixed up a fresh pot of alloy! Knowing that this mold is coming, I can forget about casting the little boolits I was going too and save the alloy for something I know my Krag is going to like!

A real beauty! The oven is warming up for the recommended # of warming cycles for the mold. No doubt about, the guys at NOE do good work! Thanks Swede, can't wait to get casting and shooting!

Just got mine in the mail. This is the first NOE mold for me and I like what I see. If it casts as good as it looks I will be going through a pile of lead

Mold in hand! Had to fire up the pot and cast a few. Right on spec: nose .302, bands .313. Incredibly round .0003! Hornady checks go on a little hard. Guess I'll need to anneal some. Weight with my alloy is 318 grains.

After 40+ years of machine work, above average work stands out in today's market to me. Work done to be right, not just to get the product out the door and collect the money. While they are indeed capable, you will never see this attention to detail come out of Lee.

Nose engraves snugly at an OAL of 2.9855" in my .301 bore diameter Krag. Rest of you Krag shooters post yours, I want to see how worn my throat is (not much). Casting now, will post load data and shooting results later. I'd prefer the base be a tad smaller, shaving lead with Hornady checks.

For those of you who have only Hornady checks, the primer seating rod from a 30 cal Lee Loader is the perfect diameter to open the checks enough to go on this boolit. Like I needed another operation. Just missed Blammer's latest group buy on Gator checks, so we do things the hard way.
