S&W Cylinder Spacing

I'm going to buy a used S & W in either .38 Spl. or .357 Mag., most likely all steel, but perhaps an airweight. Probably a Lady Smith. What is the maximum spacing I want to see between the barrel and the cylinder?

I like .006" or less. Get it too tight, tho', and you can have cylinder "drag".
