Mold Pics for 43 Spanish

Almost finished but could hardly wait to try it. This is with pure soft lead and of course the sprue plate is not done yet I will surface grind it tomorrow and build a shoulder screw. Also need to buy some set screws. Weight was 375gr.

This is my first grease groove type mold. I think it may work out good, as these where cast pretty cold. I will post some more pics when finished with the mold. Im going to make a 32-40 type mold next if this one works good. I don't really like any of the ones offered. Either they have a short nose or they are tapered. I would think you would want a proper sized slug with an over all length just a couple thousandth short of the rifling.
