CR Liscense Question

I filed my paperwork for a CR Liscense and mailed it into ATF, about 7 weeks ago. How long is the process anyway? I have not recieved any indication either way: being approved, or declined, or even if the paperwork was recieved.

Any way, I am just looking information.

Mine took 30 days.

5 years ago mine took about 90 days or so, my renewal took 2 or 3 weeks.

Funny you should ask as I recieved mine Saturday 3/11. It took exactly 3 weeks and 3 days after mailing.

I've heard several people say they recieved theirs after 5 weeks. I just figured mine came early because the Feds probably know more about me than I do.LOL


Now to order some K31s!!!!!!

Stray Round, If there is a Dunhams near you, check them out before ordering any K31s. They have them for $99.99 up through Thursday and you can do your own handpick. Stores can be located on their website. Just don't ask how many of these I have bought.

Nelson, I'm disappointed that there isn't a Dunhams anywhere near. And no one near here has any K31s and wouldn't order without inflating the price over a new Weatherby.

So, I probably made the mistake of getting a C&R.

Shucks, guys - give them a call and ask where your process is. They really are pretty nice and helpful.

I think mine came in about 4 weeks - although it seemed like an eternity![smilie=l:

I called ATF. The process is 60 to 90 days.

I guess it just seems like an eternity!
