Lil'Gun & 358429...

Anybody using Lil’Gun with the 358429?...

I just did some testing of various charges with this boolit in my ol’ Security-Six…

I really ain’t very impressed with it! H-110 has performed better and more constantly as far as velocity and accuracy goes…

I got considerable velocity deviations with Lil’Gun. Although, accuracy stayed at about 0.75” at 30 feet—not that great of a distance, but for open sights—that is good for me. The H-110 loads will stay at that or a bit better. I have several clover leafs…

I don’t think Lil’Gun will replace my 8-pound keg of H-110…

LIl' Gun has performed much better for me in .44 mag than it has for me in .357. I'm not sure why, but I'm with you--I went back to 296.

I forgot to mention in my initial post that Lil'Gun worked well for me in my Blackhawk in 45LC. Might have something to do with the bigger bore?...BCB

I have had excellent results with heavy boolits in the 357 and 41 mags.

I use Lil Gun in my 454 and 500 S&W with great results. I have had better results with h110 in my 357. The ol 28-2 doesnt care for lil gun.
