Anyone have suggestions for a rear sight pusher for a Ruger MkIII 22/45? Will a "universal" one do it or do I need a firearms specific model? Any suggestions on a "universal" model?

Isn't the sight adustable for windage? Or are you trying to remove it? If you are removing it, just use a large brass punch, etc.

Its adjustable, but wasn't "pushed" in enough to be centered from the factory. I didn't notice it until later and I figured it might be simply easier to move it myself rather than ship it to Ruger. If it can be done with a large brass punch, then that's an easy answer.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the purpose of a sight pusher -- is it to adjust the rear sight in the dovetail with the sight is non-windage adjustable? If so, then I just need to get it closer with a brass punch and use my windage adjustment to gain a zero?
