well, i got my hands on primers finally but they are CCI large rifle magnum primers. the store i bought them from toldd me they used them in non-magnum calibers all of the time with no issues. can i use these LRM primers in my .303 british reloads?

thanks:drinks:

Short answer - yes.
Same caveats as any load - start low and work up. I have found that in some cartridges I get groups that are tighter on average using LR Mag primers.
I use them in my 30-06 - CCI 250's and they shoot well.

I generally reduce the load by 5% when I switch to Magnum primers

303,
below is a link to an article in another forum on accuracy in the .303. You might find it interesting.
