Going to load up 2500 rounds with 125 gr. cast RN bullets. Around 1050, 1100 Fps. Did this a few years ago also but don't recall the powder and used a different mould which I misplaced. Tried red dot, green dot, tite-group and bullseye. The best was bullseye for accuracy at 4 grains but shot low. Going to try a little more powder. Had a pistol shooter shoot the groups as I'm no pistol shooter and have old eyes. About 3/4 inch at 25 yards. 3 shot groups. That was only one group but it was 3 times better then any of the others and 3 times as good as any group I ever fired even when I could see the sights clearly. The pistol is a Buretta 92 fs. Is the date set for Winnemucca
yet? I'm taking a trip back east in May and would like to schedule around the Winnemucca shoot. I've mentioned 3 medical problems in the last 2 1/2 years now my physical 2 weeks ago show I have diabetes 2. Old age isn't for the weak hearted. Take care, ben1025

In my 92FS I use 4.8 grns of unique with a 122 grn. round nose boolit cast in a Lyman 356242. In my gun this cronographs right about where you want, 1050-1100 FPS.

Be aware, if you aren’t already, that in the 9MM small changes in seating depth will cause surprisingly large changes in pressure and velocity. It’s very easy to change a mild load into a hot one just by seating the boolit a little deeper.

I use WW231 in my 124gr rn 9mm bullets. Although I load my 9mm just enough to cycle the guns (particularly the subguns), 4.0 gr will give you about 1030fps from a 4" barrel. I find that the loads need to be 4.0gr to cycle the 9mm pistol (S&W 3914) reliably.

I got pretty good accuracy with 4.5 gns 700X, 124 gn RN, and Lee liquid Alox in a Ruger P95.

If you want FIRE from the muzzle use PowerPistol (Alliant) otherwise you cant beat UNIVERSAL from Hodgdon for economy, performance and cleanliness

Been using it for years
