For the guy's that have tried the Rooster Jacket bullet lube, how do you like it?

I know people say it smokes less then liquid Alox.

Does it smoke less then traditional hard wax lubes like, Red Rooster or Thompson's Blue Angel?

Does Rooster Jacket smoke less then Carnauba Red?

I use it on all my high volume pistol ammo, mostly .45 ACP and .38 Special. It workls well at the low pressures and velocities these generate and it dries hard and clean unlike LLA. It is less smoky than 50/50 or LLA. I would call it similar to the hard wax lubes or CR.

I used it with the tumble lube boolits. Smoke less, no.Does not have the foul smell of alox. Builds up in the seating die pretty quick. Changes your seating deapth. I use carnauba red with a star luber now. Sold all of my tumble lube molds. Bill

How does Rooster Jacket do as far as leading, does it do as well as liquid Alox.

In my experience LLA is a better lube. But at the low speeds of .45 ACP and .38 Special, leading is not an issue with RJ. I use 2 thin coats and do not experience the die build up billy_b spoke of.
