I ordered a couple kegs from Jeff Bartlet a number of years ago. Two kegs included #102 which is suppose to be close to AA#2 or RedDot.

Has anyone else used this powder? I've searched the web time and time again and never found anyone whose using it with any results.

I've loaded some .32ACP and I was expecting 800fps and only got 450-500fps. Much below what I expected.

Thanks for your help,
Brandon

Brandon I suggest you email Jeff at gibrass.com and ask about this powder; he may even have some starting loads....jeff@gibrass.com

Brandon, Jeff Bartlett had a couple offerings listed as #102 that I know of and have printouts for.

Dec. 2000
#102(new) Use AA#2 data. $48.00/6#

Aug 2004
#102(Czechoslovakian) This is the very same powder sold today by AA as #2 Improved. This is new ball powder. $54.00/6#

I only loaded it in the .45 Colt at 6 grs. with a 255 gr boolit. No chronograph at the time but it was a safe load in Colts and clones.

Ive used pr200 and 102 which are the same alot. It is one of the best powders ive found for the 45acp. It is basically the same powder as aa2 just varys lot to lot like aa2 commercial will.

Thanks for the headsup guys.

I'll give Jeff a shout and see what he says.

I've seen powders not act like the load data before and that can vary cause of chamber size, brass manufacturers, etc. I've just never seen it off by that much before.

And sorry for my first post to be a question - I've been reading on this site for years now and I thought I was registered. So I just registered a couple days ago.

Thanks again!
