thanks to the generousity here im back in bussiness. I have a temporary casting and loading set up. I cranked out 500 .223s yesterday and finished smelting all the lead i recovered. I have it in 9 batches and now will mix equal amounts of each together and make a consistant alloy out of it. I probably ended up with in the vicinity of a ton of good lead. Got everything set up for now in the small garage. Without you guys to get to where im at now would have taken months not weeks. Ive learned alot from this mishap. I got a good education in doing this stuff in a more safe way and ive learned that I have a ton of good freinds on here that im indebted to for the rest of my life!!!!

Good to hear, LLoyd. Nice thing about lead is it's recyclability. One of the few things you were able to salvage, I'm sure.

There is one true measure to identify a real friend. That is to be really in need of something and they volunteer to help, without being asked and without expecting something in return.
I have a lot of people that call themselves my friend mainly because I have the tools and ability to do them "favors". Very few have ever asked if they could do something for me. There have been situations where I needed help, even asked for it, and they were all too busy. I have one really close friend and he happens to be married to my daughter.
Although very few of the members of this forum have ever met in person I believe there is a friendship bond between the majority that is closer than ones "local" friends. Lloyde, I think your case proves my point. I consider you and the other members a FRIEND.
