tell you the truth I didn't know where to post it, until today I have not had time to look around much, I am takeing advantage of our indoor range being slow business due to nice weather soon as it gets hot (several wks) they will be back inside shooting and producing cases for reloaders all over the country and across the big blue waters, I will be doing 40,000 to 60,000 cases a wk about 5000 will go to folks on this forum maybe more depending what cals are shot heavily this summer, so I am enjoying this.

Nicely done, Frank.

Nice place to work!

If you sometimes spill some media, like I do, I found that the

Small Husky vacuum cleaner from home Depot is the handiest vac I've ever used.

Hey Frank, When you run all of them tumblers does the house raddle? lol

frank_1947

Believe it or not pretty quiet since I put the wood table in today the 4 Lyman's or very nice Pro Magnum 2500s and the 2 Dillon CV-2001s are soooo smooth but what does happen is the electric bill goes up and rattles my wallet, sometimes they run 6 to 8 hours and do many many cases.

If a guy is cleaning just for him self the Lyman pro 2500 is your best buy and capacity I can't count how many Frankfords I been through and others, but these 4 Lymans have cleaned about 100,000 cases per tumbler since August of 2008.
I only clean about 25% of what I sell the others go dirty to others who sell different places then here.

I run 1000 38 spl or 1100 9mm , 700 45acp at a time in one Lymans

I run 1400 38s 2200 9mm 1300, 45s at a time in one Dillon

those are estimates by useing a large coffee can several times to what is close to those figures

i burnt up a dillon 2001 in less than 6 months....so here is some tips.

limit weight to 14 lbs...that is 1k 223.
get timers on every machine....one hr is more than enough on most brass.

use car polish( nufinish at any place)...lots cheaper than "brass" polish.

call dillon and buy another tub for the media seperator. put it on top when cranking....keeps the stuff inside.

I was reading a post here when I first joined the forum and the author was using bon ami as a polishing media instead of the comercial products.
I have been using it with great results on range brass.
Has anyone else ever used it?

what is it

3006guns

Bon Ami......French for "dear friend".......available in the cleaning section of any grocery store. It's a VERY fine polishing, cleaning powder used on porcelain sinks, trim, etc.

I think it's a fine grade of pumice powder, but not totally sure. Been used for years as a method of smoothing mold irregularities with an oiled boolit.

That is interesting, I am going to check that out, after I clean my brass with walnut and rugue and polish, I then use a fine gr walnut mix and cob for 10 minutes to put a high shine on them, polish allways leaves a residue, that stuff may help out.

100 percent calcium carbonate as of several years ago. Completely safe, but raises ph when water is used. Compensate with a little vinegar when brass is involved, but not steel. ... felix

I will try some, in the past years I have tried it all, car wax, furniture wax, brasso, and any other cheaper product on the market that shine anything I am some what of a perfectionist, I have been told so I strive for the perfect shine here is a copy of a recnt sale I made to a commercial reloader.

I just wanted to let you know I got the brass today and I was in heaven when I opened the box. The brass is like NEW I have bought brass from many so called dealers but never seen any brass that was in this shape A+. This is first class brass not stuff found in an outdoor range or used several time it is the real once fires ammo brass and has never seen water mud or anything to discolor it awesome stuff and anyone that reloads for a living or just for personal bullets should buy this brass they will be back for more. I will be buying all my brass from you as this will help our business I am also happy to also read you’re going to start selling rifle brass as we also reload match loads for several sizes 223, 270 and 300 win mags
Thanks again for a super deal and I look forward to many years buying this super brass

That is why I strive to be the best and keep prices fair and have a product people feel good about buying that email said it all for me to continue doing what I do.

Frank 1947,
Let me know your findings with the bin-ami.
I have a RCBS vibrator cleaner and I use about a teaspoon to each run along with a few paper towel strips to collect the crud..
I would kike to know what someone else thinks of the method.
