Contender Scope Mounting

I want to put a scope on my Contender (14" barrel).. std 1" tube, 32mm aperture kinda thing.. thinking std weaver "high" mounts (about .4") should do the job.

Any info\advice??

Weaver "High" rings will work great.

I really like the "Duo Rings" sold by T/C. Base and bottom rings are one solid piece of metal.
