Buying a Puma this week. Will be using it on the quad,as protection from bears( my Rhodesian Ridgeback is a bear magnet), and deer hunting.I would appreciate any suggestions as to what CB's work best. Prefer to tumble lube. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Been shooting .44Mag. since they came out. This is by far the easiest boolit to make shoot well I have ever had. Run them at 1750-1800 FPS and fear NOTHING.
My LSA Puma is the 24 inch octagon barreled one and is awesome.
Also have the Rossi carbine in .357 and it is even better.

Ranch Dog .432-265 GC would be nice. :) If you like something with a bit more weight there is the Lee 310Gr GC. Or here is another good one. :) http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=51757

+1 on the ranch dog - if you can find a mold. He's getting out of the business, and I don't know if he has any left.

They're a tumble lube design, designed for slightly larger bores.

Link is at bottom of page, but his website says he's on vacation until June 1st, and inventory is very low.

michael is retiring.
any p/b boolit or g/c boolit with a nose short enough and round enough to feed, and flat enough will do what you want.

Scheeoooooooooooot! I've been going to get one of thse moulds for ages, but have been sitting on my hands, may be too late now, I believe he gave all of the drawings to Lee, so it shouldn't be too hard to get the odd group buy going.

I have two Rossis, one in 357/38 which is a cheapy I bought as a back up gun and for new shooters that wandered in. It is such a good bit of kit, it and my old Uberti 44/40 1866 have been used as much as the rest put together. Haven't really ht it off with the 44, i will have to go back and give it another try.

Mick.
