Just curious what press and dies you got, from who and how long??
Im waiting on a Walnut Hill press and some dies
I got the Blackmon press and dies. Press looks like the Mighty Mite. Took between 2 and 2 1/2 months to get them. I got the 22 set for the rimfire jackets.

............I lube my Walnut Hill with Mobile Vactra #2 medium way oil. It is designed to be used between slidding heavily loaded surfaces, and has modifiers added to eliminate 'stick-slip' which wouldn't be a problem in a swage press. However it also is modified with 'tackifiers' which means once it's in place it has a tendancy to stay there and not run down and drip off.
I also use it because I have it and use it on my lathe bed. Cost is about $16/gallon. I would suspect that most any medium body EP gear oil, like an 80 wt would also work. The only negative I can think of is that it smells.

I may get the vectra - I thought I had read that they had removed the tackifiers over on the home machinist. I could use it on my mill and lathe as well - I currently use the 80 weight gear oil. I thought about white lithium but didn't know if it would hold up.
Thanks.

Does Larry Blackmon (Bullet Swaging Supply) have a website or a catalog? I googled and came up with nothing.
Pete
No and Yes. No website - has email but usually doesn't respond. Best to call (318) 387-7257. Not exactly a catalogue but several fliers. You can call and request the fliers. I'll try to scan them into a pdf file later - seems to be a lot of interest in his products. Don't be surprised when they answer as Optometrist.
I have scanned Blackmon's sales material into a PDF file. If you would like a copy of it PM me your email address and I will send it to you.

Had so many request I couldn't keep up with them. I posted them and you can download them from the link below.
