I may be looking to remove the bevel base from my Saeco #40 mold. Is there anyone on this board that does this kind of work? I would like to give them my business.

ditto on removing the gas check shoulder on my 311413s and my 350gr .460 ranch dog mold. I shoot them without gas checks anyway and while I have boxes of Hornady checks for both cannot find the first benefit to their use. Even with the GC designs shot without gaschecks they perform as well or better than with carefully applied gas checks and the .460 checks won't even crimp on as they are barely that big without crimping.

Check with a member called "Buckshot".

If he does this, his work is superb.

Anybody with a Bridgeport, a dial indicator & a boring head can do it. It's a simple job on a vertical mill. Check around for local machine shops in your area.

Had the bevel base removed on a LEE six banger .40 cal 175 gr TLSWC. Now it weighs 158 gr. I couldn't be happier.

Buckshot comes to my mind. He does this kind of stuff and is a member of this forum.
