Hello All,
I am looking for some input on a .40 s&w load. I will be loading 155 grain truncated cone boolits (from a saeco #40 mold), using win 231 powder. These rounds will be shot primarily through a glock #27. I am looking for a low to medium power practice load, nothing hot. Any recomendations on what powder charge to start?
As a follow up question. Is there any good formula for converting known load data using jacketed projectiles to a safe load using cast boolits? For instance, the Hodgdon data recommends using 5.0 grains of 231 with a 155gr XTP projectile. Can I use this data to get a rough starting point with cast?
