I'm looking at 1.600-1.610" just before hitting the rifling on my Inland. The boolit profile is much different than it's FMJ cousin. The boolit is very deep in the case. I'm using a compressed load of AL-8 at 10.5 grains.

Does anyone else have any COL info for their Carbine?

Thanks
Jim

Looks like no one has noticed your request- BTT once again for curiosity sake.

I'd like to hear something about this, too- I've got a 30 Carbine also, and have been considering shooting the C309-112-F in it.

It looks like 1.600" is working for me.

Using a Lee #90301, diameter - .311, weight - 100 gr, 311-100-2R, double cavity mold I have an OAL of 1.685 inches. I am using 12 grains of 2400 with Lee Alox lube. So far I am shooting a 4" group at 100 yards for 10 rounds from the bench. I am using a Standard Product M1 Carbine in NRA very good condition.
