I researched that *I* headstamp a couple of years back. I cant remember exactly who made it. I was told that the brass was not any good. Ihave been using the heck out of it in .38 special with no ill effects

I've had no luck so far with O.F.L. Are you sure it's not G.F.L. http://www.afte.org/ExamResources/gallery2/v/Headstamp-Gallery/Letters_001/G/

I had some OFL 7.62 NATO that was very accurate and I was told it came from
Nigeria or someplace in central Africa the I would not normally guess would have
quality ammo.

Don't think so. I have a bunch of SA 7.62 NATO, not OFL headstamp, and I remember
thinking when I was told that it was Nigerian or Liberian or something like that, "Wonder
who they got to make it for them, not likely THEY could make decent
ammo." I would never think that about South Africa, at least before the change in gov't.

Maybe Namibian which I used to no nothing about. Been reading up on the country, they
have a German background, so could be high quality ammo mfgr there, they still have some
links to Germany, I think.
