Please explain to me how they size bullets of sizes larger than this.

I'm just curious and would like to know...as well as a tentative project with a modern rifle in .577 Snyder.

With a push through sizer. Similar to the Lee sizer dies. Most fit in the reloading press-7/8-14 thread. Member "Buckshot" makes custom sizer dies. Shoot him a PM.

Yep Buckshot push throughs are the way to go, if you need big and you have a Rockchucker, Redding or such like with the removable bushing then that will do the job of taking a bigger die.

I'm lucky I've got this old Vickers Armstrong Luber made for .577" and buckshot has made .590 dies for me.

There is a thread on the Muzzleloading here, wherein I said the bigest die I ever saw for a Lyman sizer was .515. I was almost instantaneously shown a picture of an official Lyman .585 die. I refer you there without further comment. BvT

Dromia, that thing looks like it's built like a tank. If you hadn't put a name to it my guess would have been navy yard home project...Ray

You sure that thing is strong enough? [smilie=1:

Wow, looks like it was built to size steel bullets.

Laughed till I cried watching the rag heads shoot the 577 on You Tube. If you have not watched then please do so. That sizer is huge!! I hope you shoot into a berm where you can retrieve the chunks of lead that you put down range.

All, Skirmishers have been using custom made RCBS and Lyman type dies in lubersizers for decades in C/W muskets and carbines up to .590 dia that I know of . The walls are a bit thin but I have never had any problem with them sizing soft lead minnes.
Jerry Harmon from Lincoln Park Mi.was making them for last 40 years or so. He also made push through hand sizers . He sold the business lately I hear
