1911 5" holster....mag carrier

ok got the lovely para 1911 gi expert. this will be shot locally in club ipsc type matches. no concealed carry.

so lets hear some reccomendations for holster and mag carriers.....a double.

perfer leather...but will listen to plastic options

Mike,

You can't go wrong with a good quality kydex holster & pouches. Either Blade-Tech or Sidearmor will serve you well, and you could use either in IDPA if you wanted.

If you want to really race you could dish out over $200 on a CR Speed holster/belt/pouches, but depending on which division you intend to shoot the CR rig may not be legal.

If you shoot singlestack you need a carry type holster, (the bladetech DOH is not even allowed) and mag carriers that ride behind your hips. Bladetech has many nice offerings as does comptac. Limited and limited 10 divisions have no requirements and you can get whatever you want.
