Right out of the trash can at the range - anybody's .45 ACP plastic base, and you can store 'em back in the box with a label easy - these are from a Lyman 457125, more than 500 gr. of boolit coming at ya !

I use my 9mms to dry my paper patches for my .30cals.
Keeps them well during drying.

I store my .45 ACP in a brass casing with powder and primer in those boxes. They work really well [smilie=1:...Ray

You guys are way too neat! My boolits go in coffee cans or baggies. But- the 25 Auto cartridge holders work great for screwdriver bits and some plastic trays have a 1/8" hole on the back side that holds Dremel tool bits nicely.

Plastic automatic washer soap containers, with a lid. Coffee cans, 28 oz. stewed tomato cans.
I've noticed that coffee cans are not metal anymore.

I get my coffee at Family Dollar for about $2/can. Awful stuff but it's cheap. :)

I store bullets mainly in altoids tins for small jobs that I don't shoot a lot of, and coffee cans for those I use a ton of. Whatever for inbetween- old flip top boxes from Midway that came with 100 counts of bulk repacked bullets, spam cans, baggies, whatever.

I don't store lubed/sized boolits. I size and lube as part of the loading process, just prior to assembly.

Most of my boolits and a lot of loaded ammo goes into 1# coffee cans, or VERY OLD Enfamil formula cans from when The Rotten Daughters were babies. I have been phasing in the 50-round plastic cartridge containers for a few years, and that process is about 40% complete. Empty brass goes into 1#, 2#, or 3# coffee cans. The jury is still out on the subject of plastic coffee cans. I think metal is better, but plastic seems serviceable--so far.

I have shelves above my loading bench. On the underside of these I screw lids for large plastic jars from peanut butter. Cast, cast and sized etc. are stored where I can ID them quickly. Cleaned trimmed sized and primed brass is stored in baby wipe plastic covered containers and labeled with magic marker / sharpie etc. stored on the shelves above the boolits. Loaded ammo is stored in GI ammo cans, stenciled with caliber, bullet weight etc. Powder is stored in a metal under-bench locker that is four feet wide, by three feet and about three feet deep with a hinged lid. This locker only holds four and eight pound jugs and larger. My individual pounds of powder are stored on an inside wall on shelves. Primers are stored in an old refrigerator along with my welding rod supply.

all my range candy comes back and is but into Icecream tubes until it is sortaed and cleaned/ de-caped then it goes into the plastic coffee cans I sprayed the sides o the sharpie better
and when it is loaded it gose in ranges found old boxes and painted tops of the cardboard = color of paint equal what load primer and type of bullet then those are put into GI ammo cans under the bench
the cast boolits get put into old Koolade contaners the ones that have the suger where you just add water or like country time stuff white plastic stuff but I only Cast 9mm and 40sw so far
Primers go in gi ammo (silver)can along with powder each has it's own ammo can too
Blue for blue dot Red for WSF and green for h322
some pepole say I am alittle anal but I like to know where things are

The cheap coffee I get is the "Chase & Sanborn" brand. Its $3 for 34.5 oz at the local Warehouse Market. If you do the math that is about $1.50 a pound. It reminds me of the coffee I've been drinking for years in the Army. You know...were it got the term "Cup of Joe"

I have a truck loads of those black bullet holders. Thing is when I store my nice 120-158 grs .38's they almost disappear down the holes... don't look as good as in the pictures.

You do know they left off the "Cup of Joes urine" right? My mother in law used to pick up the really cheap stuff- Chase and Sanborn, Chock full o'nuts, or even the generic "COFFEE" an old out of business chain used to carry. Of course she boiled it in the percolator for a few hours before serving it so it could have been old socks and peat moss for all we knew.....

9 mm trays work excelent for loading block/storage of 7mm tc/u , loaded and stored base down . When it's a call to the firing line for siloutte just grab and go . Also good for .38 spec wadcutters and .38 super as well .

Sounds like you're mother in law would be right at home down in Southeastern Oklahoma. You tell her she can come visit any time she wants. And I'll drink whatever coffee she fixes. My aunt still fixes coffee in a percolator. She refuses to upgrade to a coffee pot.

Cardboard - stacked in layers, keeps lube from drying sticking to next boolit and getting everything messy. Cover up, keep dust off.

and are they hard to move without spilling?

No.....

Made some "pine boxes" for my bullets. Once they are sized I store them in these. As you can see the box standing on its side has a lip that locks into the box below it. They are easy to make too. Malcolm
